Semester 1

Semester 1 is tailored for fresh candidates who have little or no knowledge of computers. The courses in this semester gear up students to use the computer efficiently. They gain expertise on the most popular applications used daily like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Access which are all a part of the Microsoft Office 2007 Suite. Besides they learn to troubleshoot the Microsoft Office 2007 Suite and also troubleshoot the computer on which this application is installed, for which a fair amount of electronics knowledge is required. Semester 2

Semester 2 focuses on implementing, maintaining and troubleshooting from the server side. In this semester, students will be introduced to the most popular Server Operating System – Windows Server 2003.  They will learn to install, configure, manage and maintain Windows Server 2003. Students will also learn about all the services that are required to maintain a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 network environment. Semester 3 would equip students with skills required for successful implementation of networks. Semester 4

Semester 4 enables students to physically implement internetworks, which are basically multiple networks connected to each other with connectivity devices like routers. They learn how to isolate one network from another, allow computers to communicate from one network to another, configure routers to route data from one network to another, and configure the routing protocols that allow data to travel across multiple networks using Cisco Routers. The students also learn to create virtual networks on switches and determine which virtual network would communicate with another and which would not.
